We are glad you are here, and we pray that whether you are visiting this web site or joining us in worship, you will encounter the victory of the Triune God, embrace the teaching of Christ, and be strengthened for life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

 Liturgical Worship
Liturgy means the "work of the people." A liturgical service has an order that is rooted in the worship life of the Bible and the early Church. Worship in the historic Christian tradition is communal. It does not depend on our individual feelings, which change from day to day. Worship is based on the unchanging love of God that is given to us through the Word and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

Faithful Preaching
As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Grace Lutheran Church accepts the canonical Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the inspired Word of God and the authoritative source and norm of its proclamation, faith, and life. Grace Lutheran Church also accepts the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds as true declarations of faith, and the Lutheran Confessional writings as true witnesses to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and valid interpretations of the faith of the Church.

Fine Music
Our congregation is blessed with a beautiful nave that has an
outstanding acoustic for music-making. Our worship services are led by
organ and piano, choirs (vocal and handbell), but the primary
"instrument" is that of our worshipers lifting their voices in song! On
festivals, the Grace Foundation Brass adds another note of celebration
to our services. Join us and see how meaningful it us to be part of
worship at Grace.  We have musical opportunities for everyone -- from
infants to senior citizens -- if you are interested in singing, ringing,
or playing fine music for our services, we have a place for you! Please
contact our director of music for more information!
